Chieveley Village Hall, 9th April 2023. Judge: Mrs Vera Harcourt-Morris.
It was a privilege to be asked to judge this show and I really enjoyed my day. The committee made sure that the day ran smoothly, making sure that everyone had a pleasant time.
I had some lovely dogs to go over and was incredibly pleased with the final placings. Great to see some new people showing their Dandies for the first time. All dogs had good temperament and were unfazed by the experience. My thanks to Maise and Mary for your professional stewarding.
No Entries for MPD, PD, JD and Novice dog which was a shame.

The body is developing well, presenting a clean outline on the move. I really liked her front assembly. Strong in bone. Movement bright and true front and rear. Front Straight and true with deep chest, well rounded rib. Pleasing rear angulations. Good length of loin with the lovely Dandie curves showing on the move. A very happy girl. Open Bitch | 1st: Tinsley’s Ch. Cloverwood The One And Only This was a class of two outstanding bitches. The winner is one I saw as a puppy, and she has matured into an absolutely lovely showgirl. Long low and curvy. Gorgeous head and soulful eyes to melt any heart. Neck shapely into well laid shoulders. Deep rounded chest, ideal length of loin. Shapely bend of stifle, well set down hocks with good bone giving her powerful propulsion from the rear covering the ground with balance and grace. A worthy BB and BIS |
|
2nd: France’s Ch. Miss Sophie di Luna Caprese at Torbrae Another beautiful show-girl who gives her all to her handler. She was just outdone by the younger bitch today, but this takes nothing away from the fact she is a lovely Dandie. Super head, delightful expression, never a disappointment to go over. |
