Whether you’ve landed here because you’re thinking about bringing a Dandie into your life, or you simply can’t resist scrolling through pictures of adorable puppies (we get it), we’re absolutely chuffed to be able to share details of available litters.
The Dandie Dinmont Terrier is one of Britain’s most charming – and, sadly, one of its most endangered – native breeds. So every new litter is something to celebrate. Each one represents not just a bundle of wiggly joy, but also an important contribution to preserving a little piece of canine history.
Before you get carried away picturing muddy walks and cosy evenings with a Dandie curled up at your feet, remember that a dog is a lifelong commitment, not just a seasonal impulse. As the old saying goes: a dog is for life, not just for Christmas.
If you haven’t already, we strongly recommend taking a look at The Kennel Club’s guidance on getting a dog – it covers everything from finding the right dog and how to care for it to the all-important question of whether you’re actually ready for one. Our code of ethics and conduct (pages 5–7) also provides helpful insight into responsible breeding and ownership, ensuring that both puppies and owners get the very best start together.
Below, you’ll find details of current and upcoming litters. These are updated as soon as new information becomes available, so do check back regularly if you’re on the lookout for your future four-legged friend.
